Who isn’t looking for a quality outfit and not at premium price?
Every single day we are bombarded with photographs of people with designer clothes, shoes and handbags, we’re conditioned into society to think that people who have more money are more powerful and some feel resentful of this, but we need to feel content and be grateful for everything that we can have. I’ve always been like ‘no I don’t want that it’s not branded’ or ‘no I’m not buying that because I want to save for a real one’ when realistically buying a Louis Vuitton scarf priced at £395 isn’t the brightest idea when you’re saving to move house… Obviously It’s beautiful but sometimes you have to prioritize.
Recently, I’ve decided to get off my high horse and make the most of what I’m fortunate enough to be able to have at this point in my life. I wanted to share this with you because I’m sure there are many of you who are the same!
I’ve put together a reasonably priced must have, good quality and casual everyday outfit. Being comfortable is the most important thing for me, If it’s not comfy – I am NOT wearing it. This He Official jumper is in my top 3 Jumpers to wear at the moment, It’s grey at the top and the bottom is white, the sleeves are cut down the middle which causes them to flare. I’d never bought from this store before, I came across them on Instagram and they have some really cool jumpers with sleeve detail in at the moment.
I always buy my jeans from Topshop, I once had a pair that lasted me like 2-3 years they were incredible. They aren’t that pricey either for a quality pair and they are always comfortable. They have all sorts of wonderful embroidery ones in stock at the moment, but I needed a new pair of the standard ones – which go with everything!
I’m a bit fussy with bags if I’m honest, I don’t usually buy that many of them but I really wanted a pink one since I’m obsessed with that colour recently. I was browsing on Asos and came across this beauty and it was so cheap they were basically giving it away! It’s a really nice fit across the body and has a tassel on the outside. Inside there’s one pocket and I would say you could fit a coin purse in there along with lipstick, phone and keys and that’s it.
My shoes are Stan Smiths from Adidas but I have linked below a cheaper pair of non branded trainers. I do usually like my trainers to be branded however, I’ve seen some really nice ones on Asos, Missguided and Missy Empire. The Stan Smiths are an investment I’ve had them for a while now and I always wear them, especially when wearing pink.
Have you seen the new Zara collection? If you haven’t go… now.. and have a look. I’m obsessed with everything they have in their new collection – I’ve literally spent all of my wages in there. One of the beauties I found was this amazing Suede jacket. Absolutely perfect for when it gets warmer or even now with a jumper underneath. The piece looked so expensive when I looked at the price tag I was expecting at least £70-£80! I immediately had to have it. They also stock a beige colour and I was torn between the two, but I had to go with the pink.
I’ve linked everything below here and alternatives.
