If you know me you’ll know I’m definitely no makeup expert, I usually have no idea what I’m really doing so please don’t judge, I just wanted to share what I think of my new products.
Charlotte Tilbury – ‘Give a woman the right makeup and she can conquer the world’ true.
I had never tried anything from the range before but heard so many good things, as usual everything ran out at once and I had to stock up on a few things.
The 5 minute palette sounds and is perfect. I hate spending ages doing my makeup in the morning, I haven’t got time. If you’re like me this is perfect it’s got everything in one and good for on the go. It comes in light and dark (mine is the light) I didn’t go in for this palette but the lady worked her magic and I left with it.
It includes:
- Brightening eye shadow
- Enhancing eyeshadow
- Smoke eyeshadow
- Face Bronze powder
- Cheek Swish
- Cheek POP
- Face highlighter powder.
All the shades are a perfect colour for my skin too, which is so good because there is nothing more annoying than buying a palette and then the bronzer be too dark! – I think the POP blush is a little bright for me but the Swish is perfect.
I then went for the light wonder foundation in shade 1 (excuse my paleness!). I have pretty dry skin so naturally I was nervous about trying a new foundation, to my surprise it feels so smooth, it’s hydrating but not too dewy and it smells lovely. I like my makeup to be very natural so everything I buy is always light to medium coverage the caked look isn’t me, plus you can build this up, so it’s great for a nigh out too!
Secondly I went for the mini miracle eye wand, I don’t like thick concealers but because this resembles a pen and is actually a brightener, you can twist out the perfect amount of product and apply easily. It also acts as a colour corrector too (I think).
My eyebrows are thick-ish naturally, so I always like a gel/mascara to tame them. The brush is very thin which is different to any I’ve used before, it’s easier because I can apply little product at a time, I got the darkest shade because my eyebrows are basically black anyway. I love how natural this makes my brows look however I do use a pencil to fill in my gaps.
Instant look in a palette – £49.00
Light Wonder foundation – £32
Mini miracle eye wand – £29
Legendary Brows – Super model – £18.50
